You don’t see tons of scholarship opportunities out there for young trappers, but this one could be a really great boost for you or a young trapper you may know. In memory of their late grandfather Otto Kaatz, Kyle and Kellen of Kaatz Bros. Lures have started a new program to provide a $500 scholarship and a $500 entrepreneurial grant. Here are the details:
O.A.K. Memorial – June 8, 2016, our Grandpa Otto “Poley” Kaatz passed away at the age of 93. Grandpa was always highly supportive of KBL, and regularly traveled long distances to join us on various trap lines. For years, he made our solid and adjustable wooden stretchers. He was a lifelong outdoorsman and craftsman, and was always strong of hand and character.
