Horace Goudie was an old time trapper who would canoe 200 miles into the Labrador wilderness to spend months on the winter trapline and take the long snowshoe journey back home. He was featured in a CBC documentary and wrote a book, “Trails to Remember”.
A man who devoted most of his life to the Labrador wilderness has died. Horace Goudie was 94.
